Potassium sorbate (E 202 ) is used as a preservative for foods such as margarine, remoulade, mayonnaise, soy sauce, jam, olives, dates, wine, syrup, ice tea or diluted fruit juice. It is also used for the preservation of cosmetic products or tobacco. Physiologically, it is for healthy people as harmless as it is metabolized by the body as a fatty acid. The product is readily soluble in water, inhibits the growth of yeast and molds.
The effectiveness is only in the acidic pH range 4 to 5
Application concentration: 1,5 – 2 %
Storage: Our package anywhere at room temperature (about 20 degrees), clean and dry place away from direct sunlight possible. Do not freeze!
