Guar Gum

Guar gum is an additive (E412), which is used as a thickener, gelling agent, multi-treatment agent and filler. Guar gum comes from the seed of the tree Cyamopsis, which is native to India. This product is used in the food industry as a thickening and gelling agent u.a. used in soup, mashed potatoes, desserts, seasoning sauces and mayonnaises.

Consumption recommendation: approx. 0.2% as stabilizer to prepare pure gels up to 1%.
